In recognition of their outstanding contributions to Ghana’s presence in the diaspora and the creative industries, five prominent Ghanaians have been honoured with diplomatic passports.
The recipients include:
- Wode Maya – renowned YouTuber and social commentator, celebrated for promoting Ghana’s culture and development across the globe.
- Lady Dentaa – influential media personality and advocate for Ghanaian culture and entertainment.
- Anita Erskine – veteran broadcaster and motivational speaker, recognized for her impact in media and the diaspora community.
- Rocky Dawuni – Grammy-nominated musician and activist, who has used his platform to champion Ghanaian music internationally.
- Ibrahim Mahama – leading businessman and philanthropist, known for his investments and support of Ghana’s creative and cultural sectors.
The diplomatic passports are intended to facilitate international travel and engagements, reflecting the government’s acknowledgment of the recipients’ efforts in promoting Ghanaian culture, fostering international relations, and supporting creative industries abroad.
