Kwame Aziz Wins MVP on His Vision FC DebutKwame Aziz Wins MVP on His Vision FC Debut

Former Ghana U17 World Cup and AFCON goalkeeper, Kwame Aziz, put up a heroic performance on his league debut for his new club, earning him the Most Valuable Player award in his club’s 0-0 draw on Ghana Premier League Match Day One.

Aziz, who joined Vision Football Club from Legon Cities FC in the recently concluded transfer window, is already becoming a household name in his new team’s setup.

In the game, Aziz made numerous critical saves to keep his team in the game, including a one-versus-one save in the first half when the opponent’s striker went past all the Vision players and came face-to-face with the goalkeeper. However, Aziz, with his excellent reading of the game, was able to deny him a clear chance to score.

After making consecutive saves and protecting his goalpost to keep a clean sheet, he was elected as the best player on the field by the game officials.

Notably, Kwame Aziz was part of the Ghanaian team that finished as runners-up in the 2017 U17 AFCON and also received call-ups to the U20 level in subsequent years.

With such a commanding debut, Vision FC fans will be optimistic that Aziz can become a cornerstone for the club’s ambitions this season.
